A grass-roots effort started by two Fairfield county mothers following the Newtown school shooting is planning a Valentine's Day march in Hartford to demand comprehensive gun violence prevention legislation.

The march, which is being planned along with  Connecticut Against Gun Violence, will begin a 11 a.m. at the State Capitol.

Nancy Lefkowitz and Meg Staunton began March for Change shortly after the Dec. 14 shootings at Sandy Hook Elementary School when a gunman killed  20 first-graders and six educators.
