Viewpoints: Should clergy preach politics from the pulpit?

The Pew Forum on Religion & Public Life has published a guide addressing IRS guidelines and rules governing political activity by religious organizations.

The guide answers questions such as "Can a minister, rabbi, imam or other member of the clergy endorse a candidate from the pulpit or speak on political issues of interest to voters?" and "Is a church or other house of worship legally permitted to register voters or distribute voter guides?"

What do you think? Should clegy preach from the pulpit?
