Avon Congregational Church's Harvest Quilt Show will be held Oct. 13 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Oct. 14 from noon to 5 p.m.

The event will showcase antique quilts by Farmington Valley historical societies and new quilts, as well as vendors, quilting supplies and gadgets, a raffle quilt, raffle baskets and a cafe {image_1}

Organizers said the event is a great opportunity to meet other quilters and quilt fans from the Farmington Valley and around Connecticut.
