After many years of constant prayer and picketing the abortion mill located at Bishops Corner in West Hartford, finally closed last August 15th.  Praise the Lord!  This brings the number of abortion mills to be less than 700 across the country. There are now twice that number of pregnancy help centers available to abortion bound mothers. One of these caring places in the Waterbury area is Carolyn’s Place, 137 Grandview Ave in Waterbury.

Now however, we face a new and very sinister challenge: Obamacare. Rammed down our throats Chicago style by Barack Obama, Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid, Obamacare is a massive government bailout of the abortion industry. Pregnancy is not a disease and abortion is not healthcare. Support for abortion is misdirected compassion, a very dangerous mistake. When evil is funded it grows exponentially. Remember this on Nov. 6.

Just as President Obama bailed out the self-destructive banking system, just as he bailed out the self-destructive auto industry, just as he bailed out the self-destructive “green industry,” Mr. Obama is set to funnel billions of taxpayer dollars into the self-destructive abortion industry to keep the killing going and keep dependence alive.  It is the “entitlement” mentality,” feed us and we will surrender our liberty. Before Democrats became “ progressives,” President John F. Kennedy inspired us with his challenge: “Ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country.” It is not good that one half of our country is supported by the taxes of the other half.

Mark Crutcher,  founder of Life Dynamics of Denton, Texas, says that the “Obama sanctioned transfer of wealth from the American people to the killing clinics could be as much as $11 billion a year…or even more.” For that same $11billion, we could hire 55,295 police officers, 54,147 firefighters, 75,045 teachers and 116,852 Army recruits!” Babies would have birthdays and help out Social Security with new, young taxpayers.                                                                                                                                              

In the former Soviet Union the average Russian woman had eight abortions.  Abortion comes from fear and abandonment by males. Life comes from faith and trust in God. Abortion promotes atheism as it cheapens our better selves.. Accepting responsibility by males will help mothers love and keep their babies.  Pray for male conversion, starting with President Obama.

Mark Crutcher, has been called by a leading abortion activist “the most dangerous antiabortionist in America.” For the past 20 years his Life Dynamics has exposed the seamy underside of the abortion industry by discouraging  medical students from becoming abortionists. Why am I so excited about this issue right now? I have seen “Maafa 21” and I just read Mark Crutcher’s newsletter. Also, I just came back from the theater in the Brass Mills Mall in Waterbury which shows the movie “2016.” It cleverly contrasts the background of Barak Obama with that of Dinesh D’Souza, a writer with National Review and an immigrant from India. I am also excited because Catholic Churches across the country will begin “Forty Days for Life” on Sept. 26 thru Nov. 6.  It is a national program of 24 hour Eucharistic Adoration in parish churches, prayer, fasting, personal witness and peaceful activism at abortion mills.                                                                                                                         

President Obama made a huge mistake by taking the word “God” out of the Democratic Platform this year. He showed his true colors. Even worse when he tried to force Catholics and other believers to go against their consciences by requiring their insurance carriers to pay for so called “free” medical abortions, sterilization and contraception for their employees.  Interestingly, the Amish are exempt. Maybe the Muslim organizations will also be exempt.  He has been known to give waivers to his friends.

It is less than 70 days until the election. Please pray for God’s blessing on the election, inform yourself and vote wisely on Nov. 6th. If you not able to get the polls, call your registrar of voters for an absentee ballot application today.
